Nice to Meet you, I'm Anat Pomeranc
My name is Anat, a registered nurse and certified lactation consultant, and a mother to two wonderful children. From as long as I can remember, I was drawn to the world of healthcare and always wanted to help others. After completing a degree in Theater Arts and working in the field for several years, I enrolled in nursing school.
Throughout my studies, I realized my passion for working with infants, children, community health, public health, and preventive care. After graduating and receiving my nursing certification, I began working at a children’s clinic while pregnant with my first child. That’s where the magic happened – I fell in love with infants, young children, family guidance, and partnering with parents in their journey toward health and well-being.
Over the years, I specialized and advanced in my field. I became the head nurse at a children’s clinic, earned my certification as a lactation consultant, and acquired numerous other qualifications. I conduct workshops, offer developmental guidance, and infant massage.
Beyond providing healthcare and promoting the well-being of infants and their families, I loved doing home visits, meeting extended families, and promoting important issues such as postpartum depression screening, breastfeeding support, parent workshops, and LGBTQ+ inclusivity in the clinic. My dream has always been to establish a “one-stop shop” that offers everything parents and babies need in one place.
A year ago, my family and I moved to a town near Barcelona. From here, I dream of fulfilling my mission to support mothers, fathers, infants, and young children. I’m here to be the nurse and lactation consultant you've been looking for – someone who speaks to you at eye level, professional, compassionate, empathetic, and attentive.
